Tapestry is an exciting Cotswolds based chamber choir with a repertoire that spans centuries and styles. Although a relatively new choir, we are gaining a reputation for quality singing with a flexible approach to fit into the needs of various situations. We take music seriously without taking ourselves too seriously.
Our name came about by chance. The founding members of the choir were joking about needing a name and, as a side conversation, we all realised that we loved Carly Simon's 'Tapestry' album. The name Tapestry stuck and we banished the working titles one of which was the ridiculous 'Hoarse With No Name Choir'.
